The birds I am using in my breeding pen for these eggs are show winning stock.
If you are unfamiliar with bantam Barnevelders, it is worth noting that although they look exactly like their large fowl counterparts, the bantams lay light coloured eggs which are sometimes speckled unlike the large fowl who lay brown.
I am a hobby poultry keeper/breeder, a college student studying animal care, and a member of the British Barnevelder club.
