Caernarfon Agricultural Show 2014

On Saturday we had a lovely afternoon out at the Caernarfon Agricultural Show. The weather was lovely for it and Gabe really enjoyed looking at all the different animals on show.

Normally I head straight for the poultry, but with plans up at the small holding progressing I wanted a good look at all the sheep and goats on show. I was a tad disappointed when I found there was no goat category, but some of the sheep breeds were amazing to look at! The poultry section had some lovely entries and hopefully next year we’ll be entering some of our own flock and eggs for judging.

I’ve attached a picture gallery from the day, as you can see there was plenty to look at even if it was a smaller show (Anglesey Show next month will have a greater variety).

I’m trying to find somewhere to buy quail, I live near llandudno north wales but am struggling to find anywhere near by, can you point me in the right direction?
    Thanks sue

It doesn’t look as though there is anyone on our breeder listings really close to Llandudno. The closest I could find was over in Mold, they do seem to specialise in quail though so could be a good bet to buy from. http://chickens.allotment-garden.org/poultry-suppliers/poultry-breeder-460.php
